MAYHEM AND CHAOS

What do you expect when one of hip-hop’s biggest artist decides to throw a free concert? I expected everything that happened. The cramped space, the feeling of your not walking but being pushed. No one wants to miss out on seeing their favorite artist, so there was no way my girls and I were going to just be standing in the crowd with no visual. We walked from 1st Ave. to seaport, and made it close enough to the front just in time for Drake to come out. Oh and it wasn’t our DASHING good looks that got us that close either, more like a beefy lesbian duo who was willing to push to the crowd and take us along for the ride (PAUSE). I was so distracted by these boys that I didn’t even realize how cramped it was, with their random remarks. “I don’t care about DRAKE, where’s Justin Beiber?” “I’m here for HANSON.” “Where’s Jay-z?” “Isn’t this a great way to meet new people!” In fact it actually was. It was annoying, hot but it was so much fun at the same time. As many have heard Drake didn’t get to come out and I’m sure many have seen the RIOT videos. There were NO SPECIAL EFFECTS, what you saw was all real. It’s amazing that so many people were surprised. You can’t promise people their favorite artist for FREE and don’t expect for there to be chaos, when people have been standing in the sun for hours, just waiting. I saw it as just another another reason to love MY CITY. I would have no other way besides, I met a group of cool people.

I'M BACK IN AFFECT SO NO NEED TO STRESS OR BE UPSET!!

Oh my God it's unbelievable that I still have fourteen followers. Welcome the two new ones I remember being here last time and it was only 12. LOL! Anywhoo, I've been playing busy bee for the past couple of months. I mean running around trying to find work, still trying to complete high school as best as I can and trying my hardest to become a major BLOGGER. I've been on tumblr getting real caught up and it's become one of my new obsessions along with trying to figure out what kind of blog I really want this to be. Like I'v been visiting a lot of blogs for the past month and honestly most of them are basically the same FASHION blogs covering the same RUNWAYS, and TRENDS. I want to go beyond that. I'm trying to become a journalist and my interest seems to lie both in FASHION and MUSIC. So hey why not do a blog based off of FASHION forward MUSICIANS. I'm talking touching all backgrounds. Traveling all the way back to the where fashion and Music first met. With this comes research because I know for a fact that when Fashion met Music, I wasn't even thought of. I haven't really seen a blog that has taken that journey yet. I mean of course I'll continue to use this as a diary and drag on and on about how stressed and dull my life is but I'm going to put a twist ini everything and hopefully, you'll tell a friend that will tell a friend that will tell some of their friends, etc. I want this to be big I want to be major in the BLOG game and it will look real good on my COLLEGE application and Resume if I can get some major responses on this thing. RAP IT UP!!!!

I know I'm not the only one that has heard about the women who has full blown AIDS and has gone around spreading it to atleast 500 men. She not only has full blown AIDS but she also has syphilis and is blind in her right eye. OMG! Here is the video where she discloses the names of the men she has infected. This is unexplainable and heartless, in my opinion she should be charged with attempted murder and serve life in prison. Now it is time for you guys out there to really start paying attention and RAP IT UP!

INTERNSHIP!!!!

Ugh! So now I'm out of an internship. I have no clue were my mentor is. I've called, text and emailed, with no success, no replies. I'm delayed now because I don't want for something to have happened to her and then I just blow her off and get a new internship. But then again, if I don't have all my hours by the time graduation rolls around I won't be able to graduate. I don't want to be a super senior because I didn't complete internship hours. So I'm holding out until next week and my search for a new internship will begin. What do you guys think I should do?

Yeah I know it's kinda late for me to be sharing my thoughts on this album. But I must say it is SICK. I'm tired of people saying she has no talent, and she's this and that. Honestly, she is iconic and she will go down in history as one of the best that has done it. Then again that is just my opinion. I've listened to the whole album and the girl has a lot to say, I just wish people would shut up and listen. People are too stuck on the one major obstacle which seems to define the person she is. I believe that the situation doesn't define her but helps prove strength. So take a real listen to the edgy beats, and fuck everything lyrics. Rihanna speaks from her heart with this album and you can see a major change. I love music that tells a story and has a shocking but understanding ending, that leaves you wondering what's next to come. Can't wait to see what's next for the dazzling, fashionista with a mind of her own and power.

New Years Resolution

Now that the partying is over. No more underage drinking or getting wasted. It is now 2010 and time to step up and be a focused young adult. High school is coming to an end and college is the next step. So it's time to make resolutions that I can stick to. Every new year we all make the same resolution. A dedication to losing the belly fat or becoming someone completely different. I'm thinking more along the lines of taking steps to becoming a women. Taking risk and not being afraid of disappointment and heartbreak. Time to stop saying I will and just do it. Come September I'll be eighteen and a college student but I'm more focus on enjoying seventeen and making sure not to rush the time. That begins with making a list. Not just any list, and not a list consisting of things I want to change but things I want to better.
One of my resolutions is to understand who I am and where am headed. Yes, it may be to early to think about where I want to be in ten years but there's nothing wrong with setting up a guideline; a set of goals, something like a temporary outline for my life. Think about it, something you can turn to as a reference. Of course your sure to fall off the track but you can refer to that outline in order to step back into the path you are dedicated to be on. Be the designated driver of your life and allow the obstacles to become cars that you may meet up with at a red light but as soon as it turns green your headed back to greatness.
Let's forget about losing that 100 pounds before summer and think about life beyond seasons. Explore things we aren't used to, like if your a hip-hop fan try and explore jazz maybe a little indie rock. Try reading different books or watching movies beyond comedy's and mysteries. Everything you explore can truly be apart of a world you never imagined and actually create a change for the better. So let's start with step one; making a list. Let's see what 2010 has in store for us!
