DEATH OF AUTOTUNE...

Thank GOD for Sean Carter. I was waiting for someone to say this and there isn't anyone else I would rather say it. Death of Autotune by Jay-z has been causing a steer in the industry. There's nothing that could explain how glad I am that Jay-z has put this song out.
I heard the song last week and just like with every Jay song I couldn't help but listen to the lyrics. "I know we facin' a recession; But the music yall makin gonna make it the great depression.." The beat is sick and the lyrics compliment it. Last night when I was watching the BET awards I turned the T.V. up to the highest level and rapped every word with him.
Honestly it was a good look in the beginning but it is just becoming to much. Every rapper in the business is using this autotune and it is becoming harder to tell who's who on a track at first listen. What happened to the the different melodies and flows that once embodied HiP-HOP?
Jay-z has proven yet again why he is the GREATEST. His flow gets sicker with age and I'm glad that I can sit back and watch as he get's better. BiG UPS TO JAY FOR THIS SONG FOR REAL.

SCHOOL'S OUT FOR THE SUMMER!!!
Yes! My junior years over and it's time to have some serious fun. I can't believe that I'm going to be a senior.[=)]. This is the SUMMER of LOVE, MONEY, and FUN. I want nothing from this summer but fun memories. This might be the last time before college that I get to hangout with the people I've grown up with and gone through so much with. So my goal for this summer is to make it something to remember. Of course they're going to be bad days (rainy days) but I'll be working through those because I want to enjoy myself.
With every Season, the first thing that has to be done is SHOPPiNG. My shopping buddies Nay and Jas are my favorite people to shop with. Nay makes sure I don't get unnecessary stuff and keeps a shop-acholic (me) under control. Jas is the opposite and she's the one that's going, "Tina just get it."; "That's so cute." I need that balance especially when I'm shopping. They are my living Angel & Devil, they sit on my shoulders all the time.



AMUSEMENT PARKS..Oh YEA.OH YEAH!!!

My Junior class trip to Dorney PARK was AWESOME.I had way to much fun on the wave. The food, the bruises, the rides and the people. I completely enjoyed myself and went full out. Even though I didn't get on any roller coasters (I hate em'), I made sure to get on every water ride in the PARK. On one of the slides I busted my lip and had a big red bruise on my chin but I rocked it out and continued getting on slides and didn't stop once. I did stop once and that was right after I busted my lip, I had to go to FIRST AID, for a wack lil ice pack and some cream that had no effect on me. I have a high tolerance for pain so it really didn't hurt (I'm a solider).Most of our time was spent in the wave pool and I will never forget the way we took control of a certain area in the pool and started having races and stuff. LOL. Riding the WAVE was the best and even when I laid down to sleep I felt like i was still on a wave.. RIGHT NAY.! THE FREE FOOD in the PARK AND the BUFFET SURE PUT A =) on my FACE.

The Beginning

The introduction. My story. What I stand for? Where I come from? How I choose to live? Who do I choose to live my life with? As a teen there comes that time when you wanna fit in but come on its 09 and honestly fitting in is overrated. Creating your own legacy and being your own person is what's in. If there's any kind of trend I'm going to follow that's what it is. I choose the path I decide to walk on and if a person decides to step in my way they better have a good plan to get me off track.
Come September I'm officially a senior and that means I'm on my way to college. Being a Fashion Journalist is the career I'm headed for. I've always wanted to do Journalism and writing is more than a hobby its my life. Fashion is what I desire and I tune into those boring award shows just to criticize the looks. I love being one step ahead of coming trends and I've personally styled a couple of friends already. LOL. So get ready for me because I'm THE YOUNG UP AND COMiNG & Sooner rather than later I'll be all over your t.v. screen whether you like it or not. I wanna become a household name and that's exactly what I'm going to do. And I don't mind the hustle and bustle as long as there's a party at the end of the day.
